Information:

This OID is used by Recommendation ITU-T X.1500.1 "Procedures for the registration of arcs under the object identifier (OID) arc for cybersecurity information exchange" for the purpose of discovery, enhanced trust, and interoperability both of cybersecurity communities and the information they exchange. This approach allows cybersecurity communities and organizations to maintain their autonomy in managing their own identifiers, including legacy uses, and achieving globalization.

Subsequent arcs are specified in Recommendation ITU-T X.1500.1.

This OID was allocated by ITU-T SG 17 at its September 2011 meeting and will be allocated by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its February 2012 meeting.
