Since Cape Verde is not a Member of ISO, the Ministry of infrastructures, Transport and Telecommunications of Cape Verde, as a Member of ITU, unilaterally designated the National Communication Agency (ANAC) of Cape Verde as the registration authority for this arc. This decision was noted by ITU-T at the September 2008 meeting of SG17 and by ISO/IEC JTC1/SC6/WG9 at their November 2008 meeting.
