Acknowledgements

The software for the management of this OID repository is developed in Objective Caml for Orange. The database system is PostgreSQL. The HTML Tidy Library is used to check the fields that describe an OID.
The content of Harald Alvestrand's OID repository and oidview.com was merged into this repository with agreement of their webmaster. Daniel Marschall has developed many tools which greatly helps improving the accuracy of the OID repository.
