At its plenary meeting on 30 Apr 2021, ITU-T Study Group 17 will note that, according to an agreement signed by the Ministry of Transportation & Telecommunications (Administration representing Bahrain in the ITU) and by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Tourism (representing Bahrain in ISO), the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority is the Registration Authority for the country OID for Bahrain. This was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 9 Sep 2021.
